Jala Akhmadova
She was born on April 23, 1981, in Baku. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Azerbaijan International University and the Faculty of International Law of Baku State University. She was the founder and first vice president of the “Wing Chun” Martial Arts Federation and is currently the vice president of the Azerbaijan Autism Association. She speaks Russian and English. Since 2007, she has worked as a legal advisor at “Alliance Legal Consulting” LLC, and since 2008 as a specialist, senior specialist, and deputy head of department at “Technicabank” JSC. Between 2010 and 2014, she served as an expert-inspector, senior advisor, court session secretary, and assistant to the chairman-senior advisor at the Baku Court of Appeal, and between 2014 and 2016, she was the deputy head of department at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. From 2016 to 2020, she worked as an officer and senior officer-lawyer in the Personnel Department of the National Guard of the Special State Protection Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She is impartial. She is a member of the Human Rights Committee and the Youth and Sports Committee of the National Assembly. She is the head of the interparliamentary working group between Azerbaijan and Estonia and a member of the working groups on relations with the parliaments of Albania, the Federal Republic of Germany, Australia and New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, and Greece. She is also a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. She has two children.
